Begin Again

The beginning to 2020 has been quite an adventure so far and I am very excited and curious to see where this adventure will lead.

In October, I officially changed my name to Dondi J. Strong. See the backstory HERE . God is so faithful to remind me whose I am and who HE is.

Joshua 1:9 "Be STRONG and of good courage for the Lord you God is with you wherever you go." Hey! I am STRONG. I don't have a choice. He has written it on my life, my bones, my being. He is using my life to impact things I don't even realize. In the past 2 months I have had two dear friends have major encounters with God revealing Himself to them in miraculous ways. For one, it was a Damascus road moment. Another dear friend has stared death in the face and made it to the other side. Walking this journey with her and her husband has changed me.

Yesterday as I was talking with a friend who is walking on this new found journey with her King, and a revelation hit me. It is time to Begin Again! Maybe just for her, me and another friend on their new spiritual journey. But maybe for some of you too.

Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby was a book I studied almost 20 years ago back in my church in Salt Lake City, Utah and am very excited to encounter the contents of this book again with different spiritual lenses. As Henry Blackaby says in the introduction, "I have found that God always has a fresh and deeper truth He wants us to learn about Him.
